At the 2022 IAB NewFronts, Meta unveiled its multi-platform video ecosystem to help brands tell their stories. I was tasked with creating the onsite presentation for Meta executives and their guest speakers, as well as designing other onsite digital signage.
The technical challenge was to build a Keynote presentation that could be edited right up until show day, seamlessly incorporating all of the complex animations showcased in an After Effects anthem video designed specifically for the event.
Reproducing After Effects-style animations in Keynote—such as custom animation curves and premium transitions with perfect time control—is one of my core specialties. Designing this high-profile presentation allowed me to push the absolute limits of what Keynote can do, specifically regarding animated masks. There was not a moment of worry for the stakeholders involved, and the event was a massive success with rave write-ups from AdAge and other advertising media outlets.
